Client Testimonials

I would not hesitate to recommend the legal services of Gregory P. Oliveros & William C. Knox, III. As a parent, one of your biggest worries is “What would I do if my son got into trouble?”. Well, that fear turned into reality for me a few years ago. I wasn’t sure where to turn or how to help him, especially since I was not from the Portland area. After some checking around I heard about Greg and decided to give his office a call. I scheduled an immediate appointment and went to meet with them. They listened to us with patience and compassion and treated not only my husband and I with respect but our son as well. Their quick attention to the matter helped keep our attorney fees down and brought our situation to a quick resolution. A resolution, I might add, that was better than we expected.

Greg has been my attorney for a few years now. I just used him for a verity of basic legal matters. One day I found myself being arrested and thrown in jail on some serious charges. After contacting Greg he did not hesitate one bit on taking my case. He got my bail reduced and I was released from jail. I never thought I would have to experience something like this. We immediately went to work Greg’s team went way beyond my expectations both legally and emotionally through these hard times. Greg’s hard work ethics paid off and after the facts where brought out the charges where dismissed. I know if it hadn’t been for Greg and his team I might still be in jail today. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I was driving back from the video store and was pulled over by the police and was informed that one of my taillights was out. The office asked me if I had anything to drink. I stated that I had drank a couple glasses of wine earlier that evening. The office gave me a field sobriety test and assumed I was drunk because my balance was not good. He called in the drunk driving patrol and I was handcuffed, taken into custody and my car was towed. I was taken to the police station and given a breathalyzer; the result of which turned out to be 0.00%. While in the police station, my car was searched and the police found my girlfriend’s prescription of medication. I was formally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and DUII. After I spent the night in jail, I contact Greg and told him what happened. I had never been through something like this and had no idea what to do or what to expect. When Greg investigated my case and the true facts of the incident were presented to the District Attorney, Greg was able to get the charges immediately dismissed. I belong to a professional board and was not aware of the ramification of my charges. I was also not aware of the fact that I had to report these charges to my professional board within 30 days. I failed to report this incident because I was never convicted and didn’t realize I had to. When I was forced to go in front of the board to explain my actions, Greg once again represented me and saved my professional license. WE all know what the average attorney is like, right? Greg is not average; he is exceptional and he gets exceptional results.
