Greg Oliveros' working style can be summed up in two words: energy and vision. If you have ever met with Greg, you already understand the energy part of the equation. He overflows with enthusiasm and ideas and believes that no matter what, things cannot happen without the big push. His "can do" attitude reflects his philosophy that goals, objectives and outcomes cannot possibly take place without a belief that he can get his clients to that end point. From an outsider's perspective, Greg's vision seems impossibility. Greg is constantly thinking about how to serve his clients better and solve his clients' big headaches.

His vision for a better practice led him to the hiring of his future partner, Michael O'Brien in 1997.  In the year 2000, Mike & Greg firm to Oliveros & O'Brien which is celebrating its tenth year. The Oliveros & O'Brien reputation is well known throughout the Portland area as providing high quality legal services Individuals in need.

Greg graduated from Western Oregon College in 1973, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Education. He worked in the Portland Public School District from 1973 to 1987. In the last five years of his career with the Portland Public School District, he was an assistant principal at Humboldt Elementary. Greg also holds two Masters' Degrees from Portland State University, also in Education. For over ten years, Greg was employed as a part time sales person at Nordstrom's at the Lloyd Center. Greg graduated from Lewis & Clark Colleges in 1990 and began practicing law in 1991.

Greg has been actively working as a criminal defense lawyer for over ten years. His criminal defense practice has emerged as a primary practice area for the firm. Over the same time period, Greg has developed an active civil litigation practice. His practice group continues his work in the family law area. Greg is on the Board of Directors of the Family Law Section of the Oregon State Bar.

Greg believes that the Oliveros & O'Brien law firm is committed to excellence and is constantly striving to getting the best outcomes for all of its clients.

Greg's commitment to the community has involved board memberships and ongoing use of his time and money to support miscellaneous community groups.

Greg is married and has three children and three granddaughters. His daughter, Louren Oliveros, is an accomplished lawyer in New Mexico. Greg and his wife, Gina, are empty nesters and are enjoying the luxury of doing whatever they want, whenever they want.

Greg has an "old school attitude" about clients.  "They are everything to our existence and our success."
